Super Sarah is the "Ironwoman" of Motocross

(NORCO, CA) December 3, 2001:

For the second year in a row, WML
Member Super Sarah, earns the only "Ironwoman of Motocross" award at
this years A Day in the Dirt event in Palmdale, California - USA.

This years event saw 32 women motocross racers and nearly 750 male
participants in the well-established "A Day in the Dirt - The Movie
Event 2001" which took place over the Thanksgiving weekend at the
LA County Raceway in Palmdale, California.

With poor weather conditions during Saturday afternoon's festivities,
promoters had to postpone two of the grand prixs until the next morning.
With the already tight schedule, the WML race was combined with the LAOT GP. As
nearly 130 riders lined up at 11:00am. Top WML pro riders from
New Zealand, Sweden and Southern California - Tania Satchwell,
Elin Mann and Sheena Patterson took their spots and dazzled
the crowd as the morning's program started once again.

Up and coming Amateur riders such as Michele Johnson, Nicole Weis, Rory
Packwood, Bonnie Kelly and Kelly Renshaw all strutted their stuff
and showed the crowd that women have a place in motocross.

A SPECIAL THANKS goes out to the promoters of this years event.
Thank you Kenny and Amber Alexander, Sally Worrel, Ken Ferguson
and the Day in the Dirt Crew for a job well done. Again, you've
mastered the art of putting on a top-notch event. For the Official
